Beethoven is loved and lauded by all but who was Paul Wranitzky? In his day Wranitzky was one of the most highly regarded musicians in Europe.  However today he is all but forgotten, overshadowed by hfriends Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven.  Ever on the lookout for beautiful but underperformed pieces, FCO presents his last (of 44) Symphony Op 52. It is sunny and optimistic - a good start to winter!

This is also a perfect lead into Beethoven’s magnificent, dramatic 3rd Piano Concerto featuring pianist James Dekleva. James was a finalist in the International Beethoven Piano Competition Vienna 2021. With the brilliant John Keene conducting FCO, this promises to be another grand FCO listening experience.
